Town's Academy sides play West Ham this weekend. The U19s, including a presumably buoyant Darren Bent and Matt Bloomfield, are in action at Town's training centre (KO 11am) tomorrow.

Finidi George and Nigeria are through to the semi-finals of the African Nations' Cup after they beat Ghana 1-0 in Bamako this evening. Garba Lawal, the player last week claimed by his agent to be interesting Town, scored the only goal in the second half.

A 10th minute goal from Marcus Bent won Town another three points and took them out of the bottom three. Fulham had a late flurry but created little in the way of clearcut chances in an attacking game played in soaking wet conditions, much like the match earlier in the season at Craven Cottage.
